I have been tapping leather since 1964 and during that time have accumulated a comprehensive library of craftaids, manuals and pattern packs most of which are now no longer available. When I post my leatherwork images in the various galleries available to leatherworkers I receive many requests asking for the source. I can now refer requests for patterns, craftaids, etc. to this Website.
I’ve followed Tandy Leather for over 25 years now. They have always supplied me and countless others with patterns and ideas. I applaud TLF for compiling all these great patterns and for creating the huge extensive video library and making it available to us in a wonderful package! I’m telling all my Face Book leathercrafter friends about the TLF Leathercraft Library!!
Dido. also their videos for sale. You had some that were free to view one on the website. Why not make them all free to members of you leather discount club? The more we learn the more we’ll do and buy more material from Tandy.

o Multi-segment tutorials that cover a wide range of complex leathercraft techniques and projects. We break them into segments for better streaming over the web and as a convenience to our subscribers.
o Individual “class” tutorials that highlight interesting techniques and/or projects.
o Both versions demonstrate useful tips & tricks that will increase your knowledge, confidence and enjoyment of leathercraft.
o Over time, these tips could save you many times the price of the subscription by saving you the time spent discovering them on your own. Although many of these tips are contained in our books, they are more quickly understood when seeing them demonstrated.
• When someone views our premium subscription videos, there is a supply list link on the video that goes back to tandyleatherfactory.com and displays all the items that were used or suggested in the video. With one click the subscriber can add all the items to their shopping cart or they deselect individual items if they already own them and then add the rest. Our plan to begin adding that link to as many items on LeathercraftLibrary as possible.
• We launched LeathercraftLibrary with over 100 premium videos available for viewing and we feel we’ve just scratched the surface. We will continue adding new content regularly that is instructional and interesting to leathercrafters.
• We are not using a free service to deliver our video content. We are using one of the most well-known content delivery services to ensure subscribers have consistent and quality access to the premium content based on the subscriber’s internet connection speed.
• The difference between the Tandy Leather videos on YouTube and the videos on LeathercraftLibrary is quite large in content, quality, and a wider variety of subject matter.
• Tandy Leather has at least five decades of archived source material to cover by video, not to mention new tools and techniques being developed across the world that have yet to be offered in a streaming video format.
