AUGUST 31— Belt Making Workshop

Make a complete 1 ¼” or 1 ½” belt with a simple stamped design.

$20 fee includes all materials and use of tools for project 10AM-12PM

Tuesday Sept. 3— BASIC STAMPING—Stamping designs with traditional western tooling stamps, using 3-D stamps, and border stamping. Learn to “case” leather for proper moisture content.

FREE 4:30pm-5:30pm

Saturday Sept. 14—BASIC LEATHER CARVING

Learn traditional leather carving step-by-step from an experienced instructor.

$10 fee includes materials and use of tools and for class. 10 AM-1 PM

Tues Sept. 17— EDGE FINISHING—Finishing edges is one way to add finesse to your leather projects. This class will show you how to get that professional look by using edge bevelers and slickers. Use of Gum Tragacanth, Edge Coat, and beeswax will also be covered.

FREE 4:30pm-5:30pm

Saturday Sept. 21— DOUBLE LOOP LACING—Learn the most popular lacing stitch used in leathercraft by making a small change pocket. We will cover types of lacing needles, hole punching, splicing, ending and “setting” of lace.

$5.00 for kit used in class 10am-12pm

Wednesday Sept. 25 — BASKETWEAVE STAMPING— Learn to stamp the basketweave design for any application.
