July 6- INDEPENDENCE DAY WEEKEND NO CLASS SCHEDULED-
July 13-Basket weave-This class will be taught by Harold Graves. Showing the techniques used to get the best basket weave stamping patterns. Bring any basket weave stamping tools that you may have and a mallet. Cost of this class is $10.00 (limit 6 people)
July 20- Basic Tooling-Introduction to tooling,learn the basics and what the tools are used for.We will be working on a design specifically geared toward teaching proper tool control.The only requirement for this class is the basic 7 tool kit and a mallet. The leather and knowledge is supplied. Class fee is $10.00 (limit 6 people)
July 27-Knife sheath- Bring your own knife and walk out with a custom made by you sheath. Tools needed for this class are knife for cutting leather to fit, needles for stitching and anything you want for stamping or tooling, should you decide you want tooling make sure to give yourself time to do that and know that the class will follow a general pace of the group. Class fee is based on a knife of 8 inches or less on the blade so speak to an associate if you need more leather. Class fee is $35.00. (limit 6 people)
August 3-0pen table day- Bring in your project issues and sit at our work table,get advice and helpful hints on how to finish your project.No cost and no tools available for use so bring needed tools with you.
August 10-Cell Phone case- Can’t find a case you like for your phone? The kits don’t fit the new smarter smart phone you just purchased? Come take this custom cell phone case class with Top Hat the Pirate. Join Jon for a day of Leather craft. Tools needed are your phone you would like to fit,a knife for cutting and any design stamps you may like on the case. If you would like to tool it can take home and tool there will not be time in class to finish tooling. Class fee is $25.00. (limit 6 people)
August 17-Holster -Come with your unloaded firearm and leave with a custom inside the waistband holster. Using our new milled leather we will show you how to make your own holster. Leather included in the cost of the class all you need is a knife for cutting and needles for stitching. Don’t worry we will show you how to stitch it up. Class Fee $45.00. (limit 6 people)
August 24- Lacing and stitching- Learn the basics and more with our resident expert. Saddle stitch, running stitch,and double loop others as time permits. No tools are needed for this class all will be supplied and is included with the cost of the class. Class fee is $15.00 (limit 6 people)
August 31 - LABOR DAY WEEKEND NO CLASS SCHEDULED-
September 7 -Basic tooling -Introduction to tooling,learn the basics and what the tools are used for. September 14- Dying and staining- This class is for those who would like to learthe different dyes and how they are applied and used. Finishes and edge coating will also be covered in this class. No tools are needed. Class fee is 10.00 (limit 6 people)
September 21- leather bottle- (part l}Something new and fun from Johnny. Ask to see an example this is a great fun idea. This is a 2 part class. This day is pattern and putting design together. Take home
and stitch or stitch in class.Tools needed are needles for stitching and a knife for cutting.Class fee is
$30.00. (limit 6 people)
September 28- leather bottle- (part 2}This day will be the forming of the bottle and the finishing touches
