Aug. 3rd – Basic Carving Workshop - 10 a.m. - Cost: $10.00
This workshop will introduce you to the world of hand tooling, or “carving” leather. Learn how to use the basic tools and the process for creating tooled leather designs. This is a beginner’s class, but it is suitable for more experienced artisans to “brush-up” on their tooling skills. Required tools: Basic seven tools and a mallet.
Aug. 10th – Inverted Carving Workshop - 10 a.m. - Cost: $10.00
This workshop will introduce you to a different way of “carving” leather. Learn how to do three different techniques (silhouette, inverted and rough-out) All three will show you how to do the opposite of basic tooling.
Aug. 17th – Dyeing and Staining Workshop - 10 a.m. - Cost: $10.00
Learn a few of the techniques in which you can color and finish your leather projects. We will cover basic dying and staining, as well as resist techniques and “antiquing”. This will be a hands-on workshop so bring any samples you wish to play with or other samples will be provided.
Aug. 24th. – Fasteners and Hardware Work shop- 10 a.m. - Cost: $10.00
Are you having trouble with rivets, snaps or any other hardware? If you are don’t fret. Its small common mistakes that we will be showing you how to correct. We are going to give you the knowledge to succeed at every project. Open to all, you tell us the problems you have and we’ll get you going in the right direction. Ever wondered HOW to use a specific piece of hardware, come to this class and ask!

Sept. 14th – Basic Leather Braiding- 10 a.m. - Cost: $15.00
Special Guest Instructor Indian Mark will be instructing on the basics of braiding leather strips. He will cover finishing projects as well. If you want to get started braiding this is a workshop you don’t want to miss!!

Sept. 28st – Knife Sheath Workshop – 10 a.m.- Cost: $25.00
In this workshop we will delve into the basics of designing and constructing a knife sheath for YOUR knife. This will not be a “kit” but a sheath from scratch. All leather will be included in workshop fee. Required items: YOUR knife, lacing or stitching supplies, hand tools for cutting, carving and/or stamping.

In this workshop we will move on from the basics and delve into more advanced carving and tooling techniques. If you want to try more difficult carving and tooling patterns this course is for you. If you are new to leatherworking please take the Basic Carving Workshop before signing up for this course. We will be using our new pro line of tools.
Oct 19th –Halloween Mask Workshop - 10 a.m. - Cost: $25.00
Now is the perfect time to get started on those Halloween Costumes. This workshop will show you how to design, tool and wet form a GREAT mask. Join us, and bring your imagination!
