Upcoming classes at Tandy leather factory
Classes will be held Saturdays, from 10 am until 1:30 pm. Classes have a cap of 10 students unless otherwise noted. Because of the limited amount of class space, we ask that you enroll for classes in advance of class date by phone, email, or in person at the Richmond store. Payment will be collected at the end of classes, unless otherwise noted. Tools are available to rent for a small fee.
August 3rd tool roll and swivel knife case (intermediate) $35 Create the perfect way to organize your tools and swivel knives! August 10th professional’s notebook cover (advanced) $55 make a cover that will hold a legal sized note pad and has a pocket for other useful documents. Great for business persons, students and the like: embellish with your company or show support for your school! You will need to bring a utility knife, carving tools, mallet, slicker (wooden preferred (8121-00)), stylus, skiver, and hole-punches/stitching forks.
August 17th Survival knife sheath (intermediate) $35 Hunting season is just around the corner! Make a sheath to cover a survival knife, so when you go out you know you’re going to come back in alive! Students will receive a survival knife to use for the class and then take with. You will need to bring a utility knife, carving tools, mallet, slicker (wooden preferred (8121-00)), stylus, skiver, and hole-punches/stitching forks. Class limited to seven (7) students.
August 24th rifle stock sleeve (advanced) $55 Never fumble for that last round! Make a sleeve for your hunting rifle today, this sleeve offers a decorative way to hold four (4) extra rounds on your favorite hunting rifle. You will need to bring a utility knife, carving tools, mallet, slicker (wooden preferred (8121-00)), stylus, skiver, and hole-punches/stitching forks.
PLEASE NOTE: you must also bring with you: your rifle (all weapons will be safety checked: any persons acting in an unsafe manor will be required to leave). And one (1) round for forming purposes.
August 31st holsters (advanced) $55 create a basic wrap around holster for everyday wear! This holster is perfect for use on the range or everyday open carry. You will need to bring a utility knife, carving tools, mallet, slicker (wooden preferred (8121-00)), stylus, skiver, and hole-punches/stitching forks.
PLEASE NOTE: you must also bring with you: your weapon of choice (pistol class) (all weapons will be safety checked: any persons acting in an unsafe manor will be required to leave)
